...on the market

I have been on the market since mid-September 2014, and officially online dating since November. After concentrating on myself for a few months, and loosing 40 pounds in addition to gaining some thoughts about life, I took the time to join a dating website or two. I wanted to keep my options open. Since then, I have gone out with many men "just for drinks," but nobody worthy enough to have a second date with in my opinion.

I have thought about blogging about this dating process for awhile, and made my decision final after receiving a message from a man that stood five-foot-five inches. As my dear friend Brit-Brit described it, it would be like going out with a Brit sized guy (see definition section for details).

I should probably note that I stand about six-foot-one inches. And, as I get flooded with e-mails from shorter guys, I, of course have made the smart move to set up limits to weave out the creeps, such as the ones that mark the age of my father (my dad is 74). Seriously, what are men thinking these days?

Note: The purpose of this blog is to describe my dating experiences from a different angle.

Definitions:

Brit Sized Guy- A man who stands five foot five inches or under and is the same height as most of my female friends. This Brit sized guy probably has short man syndrome as well.
